Meeting Minutes

November 15, 2011

6:00 pm



20 members were in attendance

Major items discussed were as follows:

Total in checking account $4655.72

Plus $100.00 petty cash

OLD BUSINESS

Motion by Wally Langlois to keep the officers same as last year. Seconded by Wes Smith, voted on and passed with majority vote.

Election of officers for the 2012 terms were elected as follows:

President - Wayne Boardman

Vice President - Clayton Heath

Secretary - Mary Heath

Treasurer - Shari Mead

Over 80+ people attended the Bill Rugers Car showing on November 12, 2011.

Some members of the Lone Wolf Cruisers of Concord and Twin State Cruisers of Lebanon were in attendance, everyone had a great time and was very impressed by the cars and Lyle Patterson’s narrative tour. Take at the door was $265.00 and $180.00 was Raised by 50/50 raffle for David’s House. A BIG THANKS to LYLE.

Gould Apple orchard - Mary Heath called the orchard and asked them if dash plaques are coming for the club members that attended the apple picking on October 15th. The lady I spoke with, Sara, will get back to me on this.

Christmas Party will be held on December 3rd

Set-up at 1PM

Happy Hour 5-6 PM

Party 6 PM until we stop.

Al McNeill made a motion that we do a pot luck, instead of having it catered this year.

After discussion, it was seconded by Wally Langlois, voted on and passed by majority vote. If you have peanuts or shellfish or anything that people
might be allergenic to, please label that dish as saying so.

We paid $350.00 for the Moose hall for the Christmas Party

George will supply the deejay music, he donated his time and equipment. Thank You.

Motion was made by Elaine Osgood and seconded by Wally Langlois to have a true Yankee Swap, girl for girl and boy for boy gifts, DO NOT LABEL the gifts. DO NOT specify with ribbon or such which might be a girl gift or a boy gift. The numbers system will be used for the gifts. Voted on and passed by majority vote.

NEW BUSINESS

November 19th, is the cruise to David’s House. Meet at Sugar River Bank at 12:30 and leave at 12:45. If you would like to donate can goods, single serving size portions of soups, or stews, or paper products, please bring with you on this date to leave at David’s House. THANK YOU TO ALL THAT DONATED!

Motion was made by Elaine Osgood and Seconded by Shari Mead to allow the website calendar to carry the cruise nights of High Tide in Hillsboro and Stuart and Johns in Westmoreland. These dates will be supplied to Edmund Smith and he will put on the calendar. Thank You , Edmund for all you do on the website.

Voted on and passed by majority vote.

Dash Plaques have been ordered and will be passed out on cruise nights starting on May 14th 2012.

If anyone hears of anything going on that the club might like to attend, please make a note of it and keep it in mind for 2012.

This was the last meeting to be held in 2011, we will not have club meetings in December 2011, January, February or March 2012. We will resume meetings on April 17th 2012

Donny Miller has asked us to join the David’s House fund raiser at Monadnock Speedway on May 26, 2012. Along with the Gateway fund raiser for David’s House, on July 13th and 14th.

Food pantry fund raiser for Newport.

Portland, Back Bay Customs in June.
