The first club meeting was held on 6/22/2017
Treasurers Report In checking 1,295.39
Chamber Day on the Newport common went well. The
CarNutz had 7 members show up for the show. Everyone that attended
had a great time. Sold $85.00 worth of raffle tickets on fireworks
and $50.00 on the little car.
Joe and Elaine Osgood, sold $100.00 worth of raffle
tickets on the fireworks.
All of this is to benefit David’s House.
Mt. View restaurant cancelled because of heavy rain
and wanted to reschedule. Thought they could do the cruise-in on
their own and we would be available to answer questions, if they
needed. Club did not reschedule.
Sunapee Car show was a great show. Club members met
at Country Kitchen for breakfast and then cruised to Sunapee Car
Show. Mary Heath did the 50/50 for the Lions Club and brought in
580.00 total. 290.00 for the Lions club and 290.00 to give away.
Approximately 12 members went to the show. The raffle
tickets on the fireworks was drawn and the total taken in for this
raffle was $455.00 for David’s House.

Bruce Kozlik has set up a cruise to the Wright Museum
in Wolfeboro. Date July 29th.
Wayne Boardman made a motion to accept this cruise
and Cliff Wentworth seconded, passed with majority vote. Next
meeting in July will be able to know what the weather will be for
the cruise. Leave Newport 8:30am, travel to Wolfeboro, go to Mary
Boardman’s sisters for a lunch, and then go to museum. Pack your own
lunch and water.
Bring chairs. Admission to museum will be $8.00 each.
Storm Connor is looking into a cruise to the Ice
House in New London. More to come on this at the July meeting.
If there is a rain out for the cruise night, Wally
Langlois will put it on Facebook and the cruise will be held the
following week Monday evening. Wayne will put on facebook also.
Looking into going to Pizza Night at Orchard Hill
Breadworks in East Alstead.
September 11th, the last cruise for the
club for the year will fall on 9/11. The club has invited EMS, Fire
Departments, Police Departments from surrounding towns & cities. To
Bring their emergency vehicles to the cruise night. We are looking
into someone to play taps. We will try to locate
personnel to play bagpipes. September 11th
is first responder night.

for driver give-a-ways

Car Club for 2017 season:
July 22 - Unity Old Home Day. Bruce Kozlik will
find out more about this Old Home Day, including the parade, and
where the cars are to park.
July 29th - Club cruise to Wrights
Museum in Wolfeboro.
August 18th – Belletetes Cruise-in.
5:30pm-7pm, Andover NH
August 4th – New London Hospital Days,
meet at The Gallery (across from Hannafords) In New London at 5pm
