Meeting Minutes

Treasurer’s Report:

Total in checking account $1,202.45

Plus $100.00 petty cash

OLD BUSINESS

Club Christmas party was held on Dec. 1, 2012 at Newport’s Moose Club

37 members attended.

At the party a birdhouse was one of the presents made by Al McNeil, it was put up for auction & $100.00 was raised for David’s House, plus $81.00 in donations collected, thanks to Wally Langlois. Total $181.00.

Food was delicious and THANKS TO EVERYONE THAT CONTRIBUTED TO THE CHRISTMAS PARTY.

December 12, 13 & 14, Members of the CarNutz helped Steve Smith of WCNL with Toys for Tots program.

NEW BUSINESS

Member dues are DUE, see Shari Mead to pay your Dues. She would like everyone to fill out a new membership sheet, to update the member list.

Two picnic tables have been made by Clayton Heath. These tables will be at the cruise nights, for use by everyone. The club paid for the materials. Total $156.90

A donation of $200.00 was given to the Good Shepard Church from the CarNutz.

Wayne Boardman went to a safety meeting at the Sugar River Bank, they informed Wayne the club is friendly and courteous. Good reports from town and Bank.

Lil’ Red Baron Mexican Restaurant will fill in for the Sunapee Lions Club, to serve Food and ice cream in May and June. Sunapee Lions Club will be back in July.

A new flag will be put up over the jukebox, donated by Joe’s Family Car Care of Claremont. THANK YOU JOE AND ELAINE.

Again this year members of the club have donated the monies to purchase the trophies and the dash plaques. Dash plaques will be passed out by greeter and vice president

Clayton Heath. Joe’s Family Car Care offered to donate the driver giveaways, for 2013.

Motion by Wayne Boardman to keep the cruise nights to four wheel vehicles. No motorcycles. Seconded by Cliff Wentworth. Voted on and passed by majority vote.

Motion by Wayne Boardman to donate $100.00 to Granite State Mini Sprint Racing club at Bradford Speedway. Seconded by Chris Dargie. Voted on & passed by majority vote.

Motion to donate $100.00 to the Sunapee Lions Club, seconded by Gary Griffiths.

Voted on and passed by majority vote.

Motion by Doug Barton to keep the items sold by cruise drivers will be car related,

Only. No Flea Market items.  Seconded by Bob Burdy.

A link exchange was done for Volusia County Customs on our website.

A representative from the Hospital Days in New London was at the meeting to request the club come to the event. She explained the dates, Friday, August 2, 2013 and parking

Will be at the town offices in the center of New London. The members voted and passed the request.

Zack Smith and Steven Graham from the Cryptic Car Club of Claremont were in attendance to see how a club meeting is run and get pointers on what to do to file a non profit status for their club.  Everyone was helpful to them and they are looking forward to forming their club and said they would come to our cruise nights.

Jo Langlois will still be handling the ordering of T-shirts, hats, jackets, etc.

The MAY club meeting will be held at the back of the Sugar River Bank parking lot, on May 21st, we will have a barbecue. Jeanette Scales has offered to handle the organization of the pot luck. Jeanette will be putting out an email to members.

In case of rain, the meeting will be held at B&B Campers.

The Food Pantry of Newport will be in attendance at the 3rd cruise night of every month for collections.

Home Depot, Lebanon cruise April 27th. Meet at B&B Campers at 9AM
